Senior Business Analyst – Corporate Banking

About the role

Commercial Bank of Qatar is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead performance management, reporting and analytics for its Wholesale Banking division. You will work closely with Business Data Stewards, Technical Data Stewards and the Data Champion to ensure high‑quality regulatory reporting and data governance.

Key responsibilities

• Own regulatory reporting and data validation, ensuring timely submission in line with QCB requirements.
• Develop and maintain data domain structures in collaboration with the Data Excellence Centre and Compliance.
• Translate business reporting needs into data‑quality rules on the Data Governance Platform.
• Prepare and deliver high‑quality business presentations on performance, competitive analysis, product performance and risk matters.
• Monitor revenue streams, identify leakage, and institutionalise KPI ownership and tracking.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and annual budget preparation for Wholesale Banking.
• Improve analytics for margin management and risk‑adjusted returns using FTP and RAROC principles.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in business analysis within corporate or wholesale banking.
• Proven track record with regulatory reporting and data governance.
• Strong understanding of banking performance metrics, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder presentations.
