Armaments Junior Supervisor

About the role

The Armaments Junior Supervisor is an experienced armament technician responsible for detailed maintenance activities on Typhoon aircraft and related weapons systems. The role involves supervising personnel, ensuring airworthiness, and meeting tactical delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate maintenance tasks on Typhoon aircraft and components, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Perform and oversee detailed inspections, fault diagnostics, repairs, modifications, and functional testing.
• Maintain task authorisation and competency records for staff, and ensure all work is documented in airworthiness records.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance assessments to less experienced team members.

Required profile

• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent military qualification, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Typhoon aircraft or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of approved technical data, configuration management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ITAR, E&PW).
