Associate NDT Technician

About the role

The Associate NDT Technician is an entry‑level position that works under close supervision. The role involves performing non‑destructive testing on welds and materials according to established procedures and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and report conformity or non‑conformity flaws.
• Conduct NDT examinations (Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing) following the project NDT plan, procedures, codes and contractual specifications.
• Collaborate with the assigned QC inspector to verify completion of rectification work.
• Calibrate NDT equipment daily and record calibration results as required.
• Assess examination results, certify welds and produce reports that meet code/spec acceptance criteria.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as an NDT technician in a relevant discipline.
• ASNT, PCN or CSWIP Level II qualification.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
