Banquet Cook II – Full‑time

About the role

The Banquet Cook II prepares plated and buffet presentations for large events, ensuring food is cooked to the highest quality and safety standards. You will operate action stations, carve meats on request, and maintain a well‑stocked banquet area while supporting the culinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down banquet action stations and workstations.
• Carve buffet meats and prepare cold foods according to guest requests.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers for food preparation.
• Wash, peel, and portion fresh fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Monitor food quality, test doneness, and ensure presentation standards are met.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies and report any hazards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related culinary experience, preferably in banquet or buffet settings.
