Concierge Supervisor

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort & Residences in Doha is looking for a Concierge Supervisor to join its team. The role handles guest and resident requests with a high level of hospitality, manages packages and mail, controls building access and keeps up-to-date information on local activities and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all guest and resident interactions in person, by phone, chat and email, responding accurately and on time and resolving complaints
• Accommodate special requests and make recommendations based on local knowledge
• Process packages, faxes, messages and mail, and store and retrieve packages, groceries, luggage, dry cleaning and flowers
• Assist with vehicle retrieval and manage access to buildings and units for vendors, contractors and service providers after prior authorization
• Control entry doors and elevator access, and keep collateral and information on restaurants, attractions and activities current
• Build relationships with local vendors to provide information, transportation, ticketing and reservations
• Run the pre-arrival process for future guests, arranging services such as shipping and transport
• Communicate internally by radio, Hotsos and phone, use the concierge system to track requests and Opera for billing
• Cover guest services, lobby and phone duties during absences or peak volume

Required profile

• At least 2-4 years of experience in a luxury property or hotel in concierge responsibilities (preferred)
• Knowledge of the city, its activities and restaurants, with willingness to visit them
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment using computer systems
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage
• Professional relationship with colleagues and supervisors
