Crane Operator

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Crane Operator in Doha. The operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of offshore and onshore cranes for lifting, transporting and positioning materials, equipment and personnel, in line with company procedures and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate pedestal, mobile or overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-use inspections and routine checks of crane equipment.
• Execute lifting operations according to approved lifting plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with Banksmen, Riggers and Supervisors during lifts.
• Ensure compliance with lifting regulations, safety procedures and permit requirements.
• Report equipment defects and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate lifting logs and operational records.
• Take part in emergency response activities when required.

Required profile

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Completed approved theoretical crane operator training and practical crane operation training.
• Valid crane operator certification recognised by industry standards.
• Minimum 5 years of crane operating experience, preferably in oil and gas, offshore, marine or heavy industrial settings.
• Valid medical fitness certificate for offshore work where applicable.
