Engineering Support Engineer – LV & MV Switchgear Projects

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an Engineering Support Engineer for LV and MV switchgear projects in Doha. The role covers the preparation and review of engineering drawings and documentation, technical support for switchgear design and integration, and coordination with design teams, factories, suppliers, customers and project management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review GA, SLD, schematics, wiring diagrams and interconnection drawings for LV/MV switchgear and CRP.
• Ensure engineering documentation complies with IEC standards, project specifications and customer requirements.
• Provide technical support for switchgear design, integration and project-related technical queries.
• Coordinate with design teams, factories, suppliers, customers, sales and project management teams.
• Support quality checks, compliance audits, document control and version management.
• Track engineering progress and give timely status updates to project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear and Protection & Control Schemes.
• Good knowledge of IEC standards for switchgear and protection systems.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Siemens NXAIR exposure and Oil & Gas/Power sector experience are preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN or equivalent engineering software.
• Knowledge of IEC standards for switchgear and protection systems.
