About the role
The Head Chef leads the kitchen team, overseeing food quality, cost control, and menu innovation to deliver the highest standards of taste and service.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and implement medium‑ to short‑term strategic priorities in line with company policies.
- Develop and adjust menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef, reflecting customer demand and special events.
- Control food costs by creating priced recipes, managing inventory, and supervising purchases.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and conduct regular audits of kitchen and storage areas.
- Motivate and guide staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
Required profile
- Degree in hospitality, food & beverage or a related field.
- 6‑8 years of experience in a Michelin‑star or fine‑dining environment, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and inventory management.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
