Head of FP&A and Business Finance

About the role

Lead the bank’s financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business finance activities, translating strategy into robust financial plans and resource allocation priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial planning across the Group.
• Translate business strategy into financial targets, performance measures and resource priorities.
• Review and challenge business plans, forecasts, assumptions and financial commitments.
• Oversee profitability analysis, funds transfer pricing, cost allocation and return measurement.
• Evaluate strategic initiatives, investments and new products through financial modelling and business cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Proven experience supporting executive management and board‑level decision‑making.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, valuation and scenario analysis.
• Strong knowledge of profitability analysis, funds transfer pricing and cost allocation.
