Assistant – Accounts Payable & General Ledger

About the role
The hospital is seeking an Assistant to support its Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions. This role involves processing invoices, assisting with month‑end close, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities
- Check and enter supplier invoices, expense claims and supporting documents into the accounting system.
- Assist with supplier reconciliations, payment preparation and follow‑up on missing approvals or documentation.
- Support journal entries, accrual schedules, account reconciliations and month‑end closing activities.
- Maintain organized financial records and coordinate with hospital departments to resolve routine accounting queries.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospital or healthcare sector.
- ACCA studies, accounting technician qualification or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
