Interior Fit‑out and Joinery Estimator

About the role

DAC Qatar is seeking a detail‑oriented Estimator to support its commercial interior fit‑out, custom joinery, furniture, signage, and branding projects. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations while collaborating with multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, layouts, specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed cost estimates for interior fit‑out, joinery and signage projects.
• Estimate material quantities, labour, fabrication, installation and other project expenses.
• Obtain, compare and follow up on supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with sales, design, production, procurement and project teams to clarify requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience estimating interior fit‑out, joinery, furniture or signage projects.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, finishes, hardware and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred).
• Ability to prepare BOQs, material take‑offs and cost estimates.
