Legal Counsel – Corporate (Contract)

About the role

This position provides legal counsel and practical support on corporate, commercial, banking and investment matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and corporate governance requirements. The role is focused on drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contracts while managing legal risks.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, procurement documents, financing agreements and real‑estate transactions.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and financing activities through legal due diligence and documentation.
• Oversee corporate secretarial matters, maintain global entity registrations and governance documentation.
• Monitor regulatory changes across multiple jurisdictions and advise business units.
• Develop compliance policies, deliver legal awareness training and manage external counsel.
• Provide guidance on employment law, data protection and intellectual property matters.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 7–9 years of post‑qualification experience.
• In‑house legal experience with strong expertise in corporate and commercial law.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑border legal matters and corporate transactions.
