About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Mechanical Technician in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The technician performs maintenance on mechanical utilities and handling equipment and supports preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform maintenance of mechanical utilities and handling equipment.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, piping and utility systems.
- Assist in shutdown, start-up and routine maintenance works.
- Follow permit-to-work (PTW) procedures, safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in the oil and gas or fertilizer industry.
- Experience in utilities systems and mechanical maintenance.
- Good safety awareness and teamwork skills.
