Millwright Technician

About the role

GSO-Qatar is seeking a full‑time Millwright Technician to work on‑site in Qatar. The role involves installing, aligning and inspecting mechanical and rotating equipment used in oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with QatarEnergy standards and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Install, align and inspect pumps, compressors, conveyors and other rotating machinery.
• Execute mechanical adjustments, document activities and follow permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary site teams to support safe and efficient operations.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or trade certification in Mechanical, Millwright or Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5‑7 years of experience in EPC or oil & gas projects, preferably in HSE‑critical environments.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety and familiarity with QatarEnergy‑aligned HSE standards.
