About the role
Al Emadi Hospital is looking for an experienced Nursing Trainer to develop and implement comprehensive training programs for its nursing staff. The ideal candidate has a strong background in nursing education, excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and mentoring healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing nursing staff
- Assess training needs and design curricula to meet them
- Run theoretical and practical sessions, workshops and seminars
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback
- Keep up with developments in nursing practice and integrate them into training
- Work with nursing management so training matches hospital standards and policies
- Provide individual coaching and support to nursing staff
- Maintain training records and prepare reports on training activities
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (required); master's degree in nursing or education preferred
- Active nursing license in Qatar or eligibility to obtain one
- At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Proven experience as a nursing trainer or educator
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
