Overhaul Technician

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an Overhaul Technician in Doha within its oil and gas business. The technician carries out overhaul and repair of rolling stock components such as bogies, couplers, gangways, doors and HVAC systems, and supports maintenance activities according to production plans and approved standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform overhaul and repair of bogies, couplers, gangways, doors, HVAC and other rolling stock components.
• Carry out maintenance activities in line with production plans and approved standards.
• Perform basic fault finding and provide technical support when required.
• Complete maintenance records, work packages and technical documentation accurately.
• Prepare detailed technical and analytical reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, PPE, quality and safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities and coordinate closely with supervisors and team members.

Required profile

• Experience in a mechanical or electrical engineering or process environment.
• Experience in basic fault finding.
• Ability to interpret technical publications and maintenance procedures.
• Good knowledge of tools, equipment, PPE and HSE requirements.
• Knowledge of manual handling and COSHH.
• Basic computer skills.

Required skills

• Preferred: knowledge of TACT, Equinox or CORMAP.
