Process Engineer – Doha

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support and enhance our plant operations in Doha. The role focuses on delivering engineering designs for plant revamps, improving efficiency, productivity, and safety across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for assigned operations and design plant revamps.
• Conduct feasibility studies for debottlenecking and control system projects, including economic comparisons and cost estimates.
• Assist consultants and contractors in scoping, defining, and planning projects.
• Determine work methods in line with established policies and professional standards.
• Lead contractor teams to meet unit objectives while adhering to HSE and quality standards.
• Update process documentation (PID, PFD, material balances, data sheets) for all modifications.
• Prepare process data sheets and capital expenditure justifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of process engineering experience.
• Knowledge of ethylene crackers, Advanced Process Control (APC), and industry regulatory guides.
• Strong understanding of process engineering methodologies, downtime analysis, and problem‑solving tools.
• Project management experience and proficiency with SAP and simulation software.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
