About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an RFID Systems Engineer in Doha. The role provides advanced diagnostics at system, application and infrastructure level, owns the permanent fixes for major and recurring incidents, and maintains the RFID readers, antennas and controllers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advanced diagnostics at system, application and infrastructure level and carry out root-cause analysis for major and recurring incidents, owning the permanent fix.
- Open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases under the same ticket and SLA clock.
- Own configuration, firmware and software maintenance, and coordinate manufacturer releases and upgrades.
- Own preventive-maintenance procedures and predictive monitoring for the system.
- Maintain design documents, SOPs and the knowledge base, and mentor and sign off Level-2 competence.
- Provide technical assessments to the Change Advisory Board for changes to the system.
- Maintain readers, antennas and controllers, verify read rates and connectivity, and tune performance with the OEM.
Required profile
- FEIG / Oculus RFID product training.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
