Rotating Equipment Engineering Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineering Specialist to support EPC and startup phases for a new operations expansion in Doha, Qatar. The role will ensure safety, operability, reliability and maintainability of rotating equipment throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for rotating equipment including design reviews, studies, commissioning, start‑up and failure analysis.
• Develop and implement surveillance and maintenance programs for critical equipment to achieve high reliability, availability and cyber security.
• Prepare handover packages and support warranty claim resolutions and Management of Change.
• Maintain an issue register, identify and mitigate technology risks, and document best practices.
• Support high‑risk commissioning activities, system tuning and optimization, and advise operations and maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with rotating equipment in the oil and gas industry.
• Expert knowledge of large‑scale industrial machinery such as gas turbines, compressors, dry gas seals and pumps.
• Experience in EPC, startup and handover phases for complex projects.
