About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Safety Officer for a long-term construction project in Doha. The role covers implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental (HSE) procedures on site, in line with company and client requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and monitor site HSE procedures according to company and client requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, toolbox talks, risk assessments and site observations.
- Ensure workers comply with PPE, permit-to-work and safe working practices.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near misses and support corrective actions.
Required profile
- Minimum 3-5 years of total experience in construction.
- Mandatory NEBOSH certification (5 years).
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of HSE procedures, risk assessment and permit-to-work systems.
- Good understanding of construction safety standards and emergency procedures.
