Senior Banking Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Banking Project Manager will lead strategic banking initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory and operational standards. This role involves overseeing PMO governance, stakeholder coordination, and end‑to‑end delivery across multiple banking domains.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks and reporting while establishing PMO frameworks aligned with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate consultants, vendors, business teams, IT, risk, compliance and operations, defining deliverables and facilitating steering committee meetings.
• Lead business requirements gathering, prioritisation, system testing, UAT, go‑live activities and product enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, operational standards and regulatory requirements, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5–6 years in a supervisory/project management role within banking or IT operations.
• Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management abilities with excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, IT or a related field.
