Senior Design and Verification Engineer

About the role

The Senior Design and Verification Engineer will create and certify structural design changes and repairs for aerospace products, ensuring full compliance with aviation safety and airworthiness regulations. The role supports Qatar Airways Engineering and other internal departments in delivering safe, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design solutions for minor and major structural changes and repairs.
• Verify and certify that designs meet EASA Part 21 and JAR/CS 25 requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive compliance documentation, including reports, test plans and analyses.
• Review customer‑requested changes, classify scope, and ensure alignment with internal procedures.
• Liaise with design engineers, senior compliance engineers and the Office of Airworthiness to produce certification data.
• Monitor regulatory updates and coordinate training and procedural updates.
• Guide new team members and lead multi‑disciplinary projects.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in aerospace structural design and verification.
• Strong knowledge of airworthiness regulations (EASA Part 21, JAR/CS 25).
• Ability to assess structural integrity, fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
