Senior Field Service Engineer – Analytical Systems

About the role

As a Senior Field Service Engineer based in Qatar, you will deliver aftermarket services for Emerson’s Measurement Solutions portfolio, supporting customers through start‑up, commissioning, maintenance and lifecycle services of analytical and measurement products.

Key responsibilities

• Perform start‑up, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of analytical systems and measurement products, including planning, execution and reporting.
• Provide advanced technical support for gas, liquid and combustion analyzers, fire and gas detection systems, CEMS, gas chromatographs and related solutions.
• Conduct site surveys, walk‑downs and installed‑base assessments to identify upgrade and optimization opportunities.
• Execute field modifications and system upgrades independently or with project teams.
• Coach and support other field service engineers on technical issues and escalations.
• Contribute to long‑term service agreement planning and execution.
• Track service performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Engineering background or equivalent experience in instrumentation, electronics, electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Proven experience in service, commissioning or maintenance in industrial or process environments.
• Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating with internal teams and customers.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
