Senior Manager – Compliance & Regulatory

About the role

The Senior Manager – Compliance & Regulatory will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Qatar Airways Group’s compliance framework. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure the Group meets all relevant laws, regulations and internal standards across a wide range of risk areas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Group‑wide compliance programme, including policy development, governance structures and risk management initiatives.
• Identify emerging regulatory risks and devise proactive mitigation strategies.
• Develop, update and manage compliance policies, standards, procedures and guidance materials.
• Lead internal investigations into misconduct, regulatory breaches and third‑party concerns, and liaise with external regulators.
• Direct compliance audits, analyse findings and ensure effective remediation.
• Prepare high‑quality compliance reports for senior leadership, the Board and executive management.
• Define and deliver a compliance training and awareness programme for all employees.
• Coordinate with legal, IT, HR, risk and other functions to ensure cohesive compliance operations and manage third‑party risk.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of compliance professionals.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level experience in compliance, regulatory risk management or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead investigations, audits and large‑scale compliance programmes.
• Strong understanding of anti‑bribery, AML, sanctions, export controls and third‑party due diligence.
• Excellent communication skills with senior executives and external regulators.
• Leadership experience managing and developing compliance teams.
