Senior QA Engineer I

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance for our native iOS and Android applications used by millions. You will own end‑to‑end testing, collaborate with product teams and ensure releases meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute smoke, regression, feature and exploratory tests on iOS and Android devices.
• Participate in release planning and act as the voice of QA for the product.
• Capture and analyse network traces and device logs to identify root causes of defects.
• Develop and maintain UI test automation for end‑to‑end mobile testing.
• Evaluate test results, provide recommendations and continuously improve testing processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements and enhance test scenarios.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, standards and tools relevant to mobile QA.
• Assist in solving complex business problems while ensuring scalability, security and performance.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software development or testing across the full test lifecycle.
• At least 1 year of backend testing experience using POSTMAN or similar tools.
• Hands‑on experience testing native mobile applications on Android and iOS devices.
• Experience building testability tools such as virtual services or test data services.
• Results‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills and a passion for quality.
• Continuous learner who can think creatively and innovate.
• Empathy for users and interest in the human impact of technology.

Required skills

• iOS and Android mobile testing.
• POSTMAN (or equivalent) for API testing.
• UI test automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium).
• Unit‑test frameworks such as xUnit and Jest.
