Senior Retail Manager – Beauty & Cosmetics

About the role

The Senior Retail Manager – Beauty & Cosmetics will lead Qatar Duty Free’s beauty and perfume concessions, driving sales and profit while delivering world‑class customer service. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations, merchandising and team performance across the airport retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a multi‑disciplinary retail team to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Manage all aspects of retail operations in line with company policies, ensuring high performance and compliance.
• Participate in the creation and execution of marketing strategies, promotional campaigns and visual merchandising plans.
• Forecast demand, plan resource allocation and optimise stock levels to maximise profitability.
• Oversee brand concessions, ensuring standards and supplier agreements are upheld.
• Schedule staff according to trading patterns, providing flexibility for peak and off‑peak periods.
• Monitor sales performance, communicate results to managers and take corrective actions when needed.
• Handle customer complaints promptly, identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain strong relationships with airport authorities to ensure efficient movement of staff, customers and inventory.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior retail management, preferably within beauty, cosmetics or perfume categories.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills.
• Excellent understanding of retail operations, merchandising and inventory management.
• Ability to analyse sales data, forecast demand and make data‑driven decisions.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
