Technical Helper - Rolling Mill

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Technical Helper for its rolling mill in Doha. The role supports operators and technicians in rolling mill operations and involves handling raw materials, steel products and basic machine support. Candidates should be physically fit and able to work in high-temperature industrial plant conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist operators and technicians in rolling mill operations
• Handle raw materials, billets, rods and steel products
• Perform material movement, loading, unloading and stacking
• Assist in machine setup, basic adjustment and operational support
• Clean and maintain the work area and machinery
• Support gas cutting, slinging, hammering and material preparation
• Follow safety rules, PPE requirements and HSE standards
• Report equipment faults, hazards or abnormalities to supervisors
• Help with maintenance support during shutdowns or breakdowns and coordinate with the team for smooth production flow

Required profile

• 10th pass / high school education
• 2-3 years of experience as a Technical Helper in a rolling mill, steel industry or heavy industrial environment
• Ability to read, write and speak English (mandatory)
• Basic understanding of steel production and rolling mill operations
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE usage
• Valid Qatar ID preferred; immediate availability preferred
