Technical Project Manager - Cybersecurity

About the role

BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity) in Doha to lead and deliver enterprise cybersecurity initiatives across business, IT and OT technology domains. The role covers managing complex cybersecurity projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, aligning project requirements and ensuring solutions and processes are implemented in line with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects from initiation through closure, including test and commissioning, and manage multiple solutions on time, within scope, budget and quality.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks and issues, and report regularly to the program management team.
• Drive implementation of solutions such as SIEM, PAM, XDR, web and email security gateways, NAC, NDR, vulnerability management, SOAR, deception technology, sandboxing, secure configuration management, ticketing and asset management, and bi-annual grey-box and black-box assessments.
• Work with security architects and engineers to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Act as the main liaison between internal teams, subcontractors and vendors and translate technical concepts for senior management.
• Identify and manage cybersecurity risks, ensure compliance with regulations, support audits and remediation, and manage third-party vendors and resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; Master's degree good to have.
• PMP certification required; CISSP listed as a requirement.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience and 5+ years in cybersecurity project management.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines and cross-functional teams on large-scale cybersecurity projects.

Required skills

• Cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NCSA, QCF 2022 and IEC 62443.
• Network security architectures, cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud), identity and access management, vulnerability management and threat detection.
• Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid project management methodologies.
