About the role
As an Unreal Engine Gameplay Programmer at Dunetech Studios, you will create and maintain core gameplay systems for upcoming titles. Working on‑site in Doha, you will turn design concepts into responsive, engaging mechanics using C++ and Blueprint.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and iterate gameplay features in Unreal Engine.
- Write clean, maintainable C++ code and Blueprint scripts.
- Prototype new systems and refine them based on play‑test feedback.
- Optimize performance for PC and console platforms.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring coding standards are met.
- Contribute to tooling and workflow improvements.
Required profile
- Strong proficiency in gameplay programming with Unreal Engine.
- Solid foundation in object‑oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of game design principles and ability to translate design documents into interactive systems.
- Experience working in a small, cross‑functional team and taking ownership from concept to polish.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous shipped game experience and familiarity with multiplayer or networking systems are a plus.
