Accountant – Payable and General Ledger

About the role
We are seeking an experienced accountant to manage hospital supplier invoices, maintain the general ledger, and support month‑end closing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Process hospital supplier invoices, verifying purchase orders, goods receipts, service confirmations and approvals.
- Prepare payment schedules, reconcile supplier accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies with Procurement and relevant departments.
- Maintain general ledger entries, accruals, pre‑payments and account reconciliations, supporting timely month‑end closing.
- Prepare financial schedules and audit documentation while maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare organization.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.
Required skills
- Practical knowledge of accounts payable and general ledger accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
