Accounting Clerk

About the role

The Accounting Clerk supports the finance team by ensuring accurate entry of financial data, maintaining records, and assisting with period‑end closing procedures. This full‑time position is based at the Conference Centre Street location in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organize, secure, and maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in line with policies.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information and maintain electronic spreadsheets.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical data using journals, ledgers, or computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related accounting or finance experience.
• Ability to follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and handle guest interactions professionally.
• Physical ability to move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic spreadsheets for financial data.
• Familiarity with journals, ledgers, and basic accounting software.
