Associate Procurement Sourcing (IT Hardware and Software) – Qatarization

About the role

QNB, Qatar's largest bank, is hiring an Associate Procurement Sourcing specialist for its IT hardware and software procurement function in Doha. The role supports the source-to-contract process, from creating scopes of work and RFQs/RFPs to analysing bids, negotiating and validating them, and supporting contract drafting. It is an entry-level position with no experience required.

Key responsibilities

• Create scopes of work and subsequent RFQs/RFPs based on department requests, and administer bid analysis, negotiation and validation of supplier bids.
• Support drafting of supplier contracts in line with Group Legal and help maintain the vendor panel/database.
• Implement KPIs and best practices for the role, promote cost consciousness and efficiency, and act within delegated powers.
• Deliver the source-to-contract process in line with category strategies and panels, keeping buyers' teams and requesting departments aligned and supporting escalations.
• Evaluate supplier bids, validate vendor selection and rationale, and meet SLAs with internal departments.
• Provide accurate data to auditors, compliance, financial control and risk functions, and contribute to KPI reporting and process improvement suggestions.
• Comply with Group Procurement Policies and all legal, regulatory and compliance requirements (AML & CTF, sanctions, data protection, fraud control, conflict of interest, insider dealing).
• Perform under the Three Lines of Defence, support RCSA, KRI and incident reporting, complete mandatory training, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• University graduate (Bachelor's degree), preferably in a related field.
• No experience required; entry-level role.
