About the role

Raffles & Fairmont Doha invites you to join its hospitality team as a Barista. The role centres on preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea and other beverages while delivering five-star hospitality and personalised guest service. Candidates apply online and, shortly after, receive an email from the partner AssessFirst asking them to create a profile and complete a questionnaire, which is mandatory for their application to be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea and specialty beverages to hotel standards
• Take accurate guest orders and handle special requests professionally
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders and other beverage equipment
• Keep the coffee station clean, organised and hygienic, and monitor stock levels
• Maintain consistent quality, taste, temperature and presentation of beverages
• Follow food safety, sanitation and health regulations
• Handle guest complaints and coordinate with the Food & Beverage team
• Promote menu items and recommend beverages based on guest preferences

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous barista or F&B experience, preferably in a luxury hotel
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and teamwork

Required skills

• Coffee preparation, espresso machines and brewing methods
• Knowledge of coffee varieties, specialty drinks and presentation
• Food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards
