Barista - Raffles & Fairmont Doha

About the role

Raffles & Fairmont Doha, two luxury brands under Accor, is looking for a Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea and other beverages while delivering five-star hospitality and personalized guest service. The role covers espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees and other beverages, with a focus on cleanliness, food safety and a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea and specialty beverages according to hotel standards
• Take guest orders accurately and handle special requests professionally
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders and other beverage equipment
• Keep the coffee station clean, organized and hygienic, and monitor stock levels
• Maintain consistent quality, taste, temperature and presentation of beverages
• Follow food safety, sanitation and health regulations
• Handle guest complaints and coordinate with the Food & Beverage team
• Promote menu items and recommend beverages based on guest preferences

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous barista or F&B experience, preferably in a luxury hotel
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Professional appearance, strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Coffee preparation, espresso machines and brewing methods
• Knowledge of coffee varieties, specialty drinks and beverage presentation
• Customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
