Business Analyst – ICT Governance

About the role

The Business Analyst – ICT Governance will define, implement and oversee ICT governance practices across sports venues, tournaments and event operations. Acting as a key liaison, the role translates business requirements into effective ICT solutions while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define, establish and continuously improve ICT governance frameworks, policies, standards and operating models aligned with organisational objectives.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards, and support governance reporting and performance monitoring.
• Lead end‑to‑end business analysis and requirements engineering for ICT initiatives, including eliciting, documenting and managing functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Develop business process models, use cases, workflow diagrams and traceability matrices to ensure alignment from business objectives through solution design and implementation.
• Plan and coordinate ICT readiness for tournaments and events, overseeing infrastructure, applications, networks, cybersecurity and service management readiness.
• Coordinate testing, operational rehearsals, go‑live preparations and support command‑and‑control activities during major events.
• Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders, venue operations, ICT teams, vendors and external partners to ensure effective collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business analysis and ICT governance within large‑scale event or venue environments.
• Strong understanding of ICT frameworks, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to facilitate workshops and steering committees.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and operational readiness plans.
