Employee Engagement & Recognition Manager

About the role

Qatar Airways is hiring an Employee Engagement & Recognition Manager for its HR - Employee Experience team, based in Doha, Qatar. The role leads the design, development and execution of employee engagement and recognition initiatives that strengthen company culture, improve employee satisfaction and reinforce its values, working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement employee engagement and recognition strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Manage employee recognition programmes so they are consistent across Qatar Airways Group divisions.
• Lead delivery of engagement programmes, campaigns, events and recognition initiatives for local and outstation employees.
• Analyse employee feedback, engagement survey results and workforce data to identify trends and recommend actions.
• Partner with business leaders and HR stakeholders to drive employee experience initiatives.
• Oversee engagement events, awards programmes, milestone celebrations and other recognition activities.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative approaches to engagement and recognition.
• Measure programme effectiveness and report regularly to senior leadership.
• Organise HR leadership engagement events such as town halls and awards ceremonies.
• Manage the group-wide recognition budget across divisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organisational Development or a related field.
• Proven experience in employee engagement, employee experience, recognition, communications, culture or organisational development.
• Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Strong project management skills, able to lead multiple initiatives at once.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, using data to drive decisions.
