Financial Systems Director

About the role

The Financial Systems Director leads the strategic direction, governance, implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise finance systems across UCC Holding (UCCH) and its affiliated entities, including Power International Holding (PIH) businesses. The role establishes a scalable finance systems architecture supporting contracting, construction, supply and trading operations, group consolidation, management reporting, project accounting and bookkeeping, and acts as the key link between Finance, IT and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Define the Group Finance Systems roadmap, set governance and controls for financial systems and data, and standardize finance processes across segments and subsidiaries.
• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation and transformation, including rollouts across entities and locations, and deployment of finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Procurement and Budgeting.
• Manage SAP ERP and related applications, oversee UAT, system validation and change management, and work with IT on performance and security.
• Support EPC and construction project accounting, including project costing, WBS structures, contract revenue recognition and reporting, and automate financial and operational reporting.
• Improve data quality and governance, establish master data management, and build automated controls and validation mechanisms.
• Drive management reporting and business intelligence, integrating ERP with tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Act as liaison between Finance, IT, external consultants and business leaders, present ERP strategy to executives, and manage vendor and integrator relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree highly preferred.
• SAP ERP certification is mandatory; SAP S/4HANA, PMP, CISA and SAP FI/CO certifications preferred.
• 10-12+ years of progressive experience managing financial systems, ERP platforms or finance technology, with proven large-scale ERP implementations.
• Experience in diversified holding companies or multi-business groups, and in large construction, EPC, infrastructure or industrial organizations.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, procurement, inventory and contract revenue recognition, and group consolidation and reporting.
