About the role

The Fragrance Expert will guide customers through the world of scents, helping them discover the perfect fragrance match by sharing knowledge of notes, concentrations, layering techniques, and brand stories. This consultative position enhances store performance through premium service, deep category expertise, and storytelling that drives loyalty and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized fragrance consultations based on client preferences, personality, and occasion.
• Educate shoppers on layering, application methods, and building a fragrance wardrobe.
• Achieve sales KPIs such as targets, conversion rates, units per transaction, and average transaction value.
• Promote new launches, niche and exclusive fragrances, and high‑value SKUs.
• Support cross‑selling of body care, gifting, and complementary products.
• Maintain impeccable tester hygiene, blotter setup, and visual merchandising standards.
• Conduct in‑store demos, mini‑sessions, and on‑floor education for customers and team members.
• Provide insights to store leadership for assortment planning and replenishment.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in beauty retail, fragrance consultancy, or luxury perfume houses.
• Strong knowledge of fragrance notes, accords, concentrations, and scent families.
• Excellent communication and consultation skills.
• Prior experience in a multi‑brand beauty retail environment.
• High grooming standards and a sales‑driven mindset.
