- Contact customers to verify transactions and apply preventive actions such as flagging, temporary restriction or escalation within assigned authority.
- Escalate high-risk, confirmed or complex cases to permanent staff according to escalation matrices, shift coverage rules and AFCM timelines, and log all actions in fraud case management systems.
- Act as the main contact for fraud reports received outside normal hours, handle customer and external institution communications, and support interbank fraud coordination and recall requests.
- Respond to MOI and law enforcement queries outside working hours, and forward suspicious incidents to the fraud investigations team.
- Provide analysis of fraud parameter performance to support rule tuning, contribute to studies and manuals on new regulations, and maintain an inventory of suspected risk events.
- Support junior analysts, take part in shift handovers, and comply with SLAs, data protection and information security requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Customer Service or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in fraud monitoring, call-center fraud handling, AFCM processes, banking operations or compliance, preferably in a 24/7 environment.
- Prior experience in real-time fraud monitoring or customer verification.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to assess suspicious activity under time pressure.
- English and Arabic communication skills preferred.
What we offer
- Competitive salary package commensurate with experience and industry standards.
- Health and wellness benefits, annual performance-based bonuses and incentives, and a generous leave policy.
- Professional development, career advancement and an inclusive, collaborative work environment.
