Hotel Receptionist

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a receptionist to register, process and greet guests promptly. The role covers check-in, guest information, reservations and keeping the front desk ready for the next shift.

Key responsibilities

• Register, process and greet customers promptly, checking the daily arrival list and welcoming guests to the hotel.
• Answer requests for information about the hotel and its surroundings, and arrange special services requested by guests.
• Follow up on arrivals by updating registration cards with the correct spelling of names, addresses and payment methods.
• Handle incoming guest room reservations and stay current with room status and availability.
• Promote hotel outlets and facilities to guests and keep guests informed about current and future hotel promotions.
• Review communications, update the log book and prepare for the next shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow hotel and corporate guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 to 4 years in the same position in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
• Natural, smiling attitude and a pleasing personality, with a positive "Yes I Can" approach.
• Good command of English and age between 25 and 35 years.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to multitask; previous hotel or service industry experience preferred.
