Manager Distribution Technology & Integration

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Manager Distribution Technology & Integration to lead the airline’s distribution technology infrastructure. Based in Doha, you will ensure the stability, performance, and evolution of the connectivity stack across GDS (EDIFACT), NDC API (Oryx Connect), direct API, and aggregator platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the distribution technology roadmap, prioritising integration projects, connectivity enhancements and legacy decommissioning.
• Define technical standards and integration architecture for all distribution channels, establishing protocols and quality benchmarks.
• Act as senior technical authority, evaluating new connectivity solutions and advising on build‑vs‑buy decisions.
• Drive the evolution of Qatar Airways’ NDC capability, collaborating with IT and external partners to expand functional coverage and improve stability.
• Identify opportunities to simplify the connectivity stack and manage transitions to modern, cost‑effective integration architectures.
• Monitor day‑to‑day performance and stability of all platform integrations, ensuring high availability across GDS, NDC, direct API and aggregator channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior technical authority within airline or travel distribution.
• Strong ability to translate commercial distribution strategy into precise technical requirements.
• Experience managing cross‑functional delivery with IT teams and external partners.
