Senior IT Planning Analyst

About the role

Coordinate and align the IT strategy with QatarEnergy LNG business and transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, financial and procurement requirements while monitoring key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Align IT strategy with business objectives and enterprise transformation activities.
• Communicate objectives, monitor progress and feed results back into the strategic planning process.
• Track IT expenditure, report variances and enforce effective financial controls.
• Oversee supplier contracts, ensure contractual obligations are met and evaluate supplier performance.
• Support procurement and contract activities, conduct evaluations and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a business discipline.
• At least 8 years of IT experience in the oil & gas sector, including implementation of IT systems and applications.
• Experience with finance and supply‑chain management solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT budgeting, financial controls and contract management.
