Operations Specialist – Project Support (OESS)

About the role

The Operations Specialist – Project Support will facilitate and coordinate the Project Support Operations function within OESS, PMT and Offshore Operations. The role ensures safe and efficient execution of offshore brownfield projects, covering construction, commissioning and start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operations input for brownfield design developments, ensuring compliance with operability, maintainability, reliability and integrity requirements.
• Facilitate design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL studies, constructability reviews, model reviews and risk assessments.
• Coordinate electronic Management of Change (e‑MOC) and interface agreements, updating O&M procedures as needed.
• Review DCS modifications, participate in ICSS FAT and alarm rationalisation, and advise on start‑up procedures.
• Supervise integrated start‑up plans for brownfield and greenfield facilities and manage simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
• Oversee project‑to‑producing‑asset handover deliverables and support shutdown planning and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in offshore/onshore oil and gas facilities operations, including 2 years in a supervisory offshore role.
