Part-time Remote Lawyer (Contract Drafting & Compliance)

About the role

Hiring‑GCC is seeking a qualified lawyer to work part‑time and remotely, providing legal support to clients across the GCC and beyond. The role offers flexible hours aligned with client needs and case timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and revise contracts, agreements, policies, and compliance documents.
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare written legal opinions and assess legal risk in client transactions.
• Advise internal stakeholders and clients on regulatory compliance, dispute‑resolution options, and contract interpretation.
• Support negotiations by suggesting legally sound terms.
• Monitor legal developments relevant to assigned matters.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with the Hiring‑GCC team to ensure timely, accurate delivery of services.

Required profile

• Bar admission in at least one relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of contract and commercial law.
• Experience in legal research, writing, and drafting or reviewing contracts and policies.
• Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues, assess risk, and provide clear recommendations.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to international or GCC business (advantage).
• Comfortable working remotely on a part‑time basis with strong time‑management skills.
• High professional ethics, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Effective collaboration with non‑legal stakeholders and diverse clients.
• Prior experience in corporate, commercial, or employment law, or cross‑border transactions is preferred.
