About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Plant Technician in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The technician monitors and operates plant equipment to keep production safe, reliable and efficient, and supports maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and operate plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient production operations.
- Conduct routine inspections, record operating parameters and identify equipment abnormalities or safety hazards.
- Support maintenance activities, including equipment isolations and de-isolations, troubleshooting and first-line maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, Permit-to-Work (PTW) and asset integrity requirements, and take part in emergency response activities.
Required profile
- Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process Operations or an equivalent discipline.
- HSE and Permit-to-Work training preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance within oil and gas, LNG, petrochemical or process industries.
