Pool & Beach Supervisor

About the role

The Pool & Beach Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the swimming pool and beach facilities at Banana Island Resort Doha. This role ensures a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for guests while delivering exceptional service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of pool and beach attendants and lifeguards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of pool, beach, sun loungers, umbrellas, cabanas, showers and changing areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Monitor pool water quality, perform testing, and keep accurate records in line with hotel and regulatory standards.
• Ensure lifeguard coverage and enforce safety procedures during operating hours.
• Assist guests with pool/beach amenities, handle requests, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Recreation departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage inventory of towels, amenities, cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Prepare staff schedules, conduct briefings and oversee training.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising pool or beach operations in a luxury resort or hotel.
• Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Excellent guest service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Pool water quality testing and record‑keeping.
• Lifeguard certification and first‑aid knowledge.
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene regulations for aquatic facilities.
