Project Engineer – Qatar In-Service Typhoon Availability Service

About the role

The Project Engineer will deliver Project Management activities for the Qatar In‑Service Typhoon Availability Service at Dukhan Airbase. Working on‑site, the incumbent will coordinate performance, cost, resources and outputs across the delivery area, reporting to the Project Management Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deployed Project Management support to Dukhan delivery areas, ensuring risk, opportunity, change and spend are reviewed.
• Gather, synthesize and integrate performance data, generate regular internal and external reports, and maintain contract status documentation.
• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules for non‑recurring work and monitor contractual compliance for both BAES and the QEAF.
• Manage financial information, risk and opportunities, and resource manpower planning for the allocated area.
• Coordinate and compile inputs for operational performance reviews (OPR) and act as the project management conscience, escalating issues as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to business rhythm reviews and change request processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management within an operational or defence environment.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data, produce accurate reports and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of financial management, risk and opportunity tracking, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with junior officers and cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site at Dukhan Airbase and travel as required.
