QHSE Lead Auditor

About the role

Bureau Veritas is looking for a highly skilled and motivated QHSE Lead Auditor in Doha. The auditor carries out professional audits in line with applicable standards and Bureau Veritas requirements, covering multiple schemes and contributing to integrated management systems (IMS) and additional frameworks such as ISMS and BCMS, as well as second-party audits.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits according to ISO 19011, BV Management System and the BVC MER Operations Manual.
• Follow the BV Code of Ethics, confidentiality requirements and quality assurance systems.
• Keep up to date with regulatory requirements, technologies and scheme developments.
• Manage the audit cycle from planning to reporting, and work with the audit team leader.
• Report unexpected situations or challenges and follow confirmed audit schedules.
• Protect company assets and comply with employment terms and policies.
• Coordinate with the technical team on LTO audits, qualifications and reporting, and support the sales team by sharing potential business leads.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Science.
• At least 5 years of work experience in a medium or large industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience in planning, production, QA/QC, maintenance or project management.
• At least 2 years of direct experience in relevant schemes (QMS, EMS, OHSAS).
• First, second or third-party auditing experience is an added advantage.
