Senior Manager – International Branches Operational Risk

About the role

The Senior Manager will support the VP of International Operational Risk by overseeing the implementation of QNB Group’s Operational Risk Framework across its international branches. This role ensures consistent risk methodology, reporting and control culture throughout the network.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the new QNB Group Operational Risk Framework, including policies, procedures and standards.
• Analyse and report operational risk data to enhance management oversight.
• Disseminate risk committee directives to international units and ensure compliance.
• Identify and communicate the top ten material operational risks to senior executives and the board.
• Promote a strong control culture and risk awareness across the business.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and best practices for operational risk in international branches.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in operational risk management within banking or financial services.
• Proven ability to work with senior risk officers and branch heads across multiple countries.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to translate risk data into actionable insights.
• Ability to influence and drive consistency in risk practices across diverse locations.
