Senior Project Engineer – Offshore Oil & Gas

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will lead engineering and project management activities for offshore process platforms and related facilities. This role ensures delivery of major EPIC projects in the offshore oil & gas sector, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with contractors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering and management support for offshore process platforms in line with project management frameworks.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complete engineering solutions and project documentation.
• Develop and implement Project Execution Plans, and manage cost control, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Monitor contractor performance, enforce quality standards, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Drive risk identification, mitigation, and tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate interface management between contractors and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, support project close‑out, and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering (higher degree advantageous).
• Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of major offshore EPIC projects.
• Proven experience with process or gas compression platforms, including jackets, topsides, bridges, and appurtenances.
• Strong communication skills, including presentation delivery, report writing, and meeting facilitation.
